About Tonya
Ms. McCreary Williams holds an AAS in Legal Assisting Technology from Columbus State, a BA from Capital University, a JD from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and an MBA from Franklin University. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, and the John Mercer Langston Bar Association. Her legal career includes working with solo practitioners, international law firms, and as in-house counsel. She returned to private practice in 2020 after serving in corporate counsel roles and managing political campaigns. In 2020, she was elected to the Executive Committee of the Franklin County Democratic Party. She has taught in Columbus State’s ABA-Approved Paralegal Program, presented CLEs for the OSBA, and volunteered with civic and legal education organizations. She enjoys tennis and international travel.
