About Torrey
Torrey Johnson-Hochanadel is a trial attorney in Portner & Shure’s Central Virginia office in Richmond, licensed by the State Bar of Virginia in 2019. He has served as a criminal defense attorney, appearing in various Virginia courts. Previously, he was a criminal defense and traffic attorney with Christina Pendleton & Associates. Torrey graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University’s Thomas Cooley School of Law, where he was a finalist in the Mock Trial First Year Competition. He also earned a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. Before his legal career, he worked as an advocate and coordinator for senior programs in St. Louis.
