About Tricia
Tricia Hurst is an attorney and a native of Cincinnati. She grew up in a trade union family in a working-class neighborhood and was the first in her family to obtain a college degree. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, she worked throughout college to pay for her education, and after graduation, she worked at WLWT-Cincinnati as part of the directing team and was a member of the IBEW. Tricia then earned her J.D. at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where she was a two-year member of C-M’s distinguished Moot Court team. During law school, Tricia clerked at a medical malpractice firm, where she began building her knowledge of the medical aspects of workers’ compensation. She became a workers’ compensation claimant litigation attorney and then an administrative defense attorney. She has returned to her working-class roots representing injured workers along with Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz.
