About William
William E. Kass practices in a wide range of fields including personal injury, automobile accidents, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability, medical malpractice and legal malpractice. He graduated from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1978 and Old Dominion University in 1972. He is admitted to the bars of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell Lawyer Referral Service. Mr. Kass is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, The American Association for Justice, the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association and Portsmouth Bar Association. He was listed in “Coastal Virginia Magazine” in the “CoVaBiz Top Personal Injury Lawyers List” in 2020. He was selected as one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Virginia” by The National Trial Lawyers Association and has also been included in “Virginia Super Lawyers Magazine” for personal injury law. He has practiced law in Portsmouth since graduating from law school.
