About William
Over the past 36 years my practice has been focused in large part on products liability, environmental tort litigation, and insurance defense. My products liability defense includes popcorn litigation, consumer products, auto and tire manufacturers, children's products and clothing, agricultural machinery, agricultural chemicals, and seed companies. My environmental tort litigation includes representation of more than 40 companies as defendants in asbestos litigation. My insurance defense practice relates primarily to businesses, home insurance, and automobile insurance. My practice is primarily focused in Western Iowa in state and federal courts in Iowa and Nebraska. I have been involved in legal matters in over 90 counties throughout Iowa. My secondary area of practice is representation of school districts, student's parents, teachers, and administrators. My back ground in this area includes being licensed as a teacher, guidance counselor, and superintendent while also having a Ph.D. in education.
