Upon graduation from George Washington University Law School, William Ryan joined his father, Edward Ryan, in practice in Michigan in 1974. He concentrates his law practice in personal injury, wrongful death, workers' compensation, disability litigation, and representation of labor unions. He has lectured at seminars for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past president of the Kalamazoo County Young Lawyers Association and the Kiwanis Club of Kalamazoo, and has served on boards for local agencies like the Constance Brown Hearing & Speech Center and the Pretty Lake Vacation Camp.
