William Tyler Downing (Tyler) is a native of Baton Rouge, a graduate of Catholic High School and Louisiana State University. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, graduating magna cum laude and becoming a published editor of the SULC Law Review. He previously worked for the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement. Since joining Spencer Calahan in 2016, he has successfully resolved thousands of cases and tried several in state and federal court, including arguing before the Louisiana Supreme Court.
