W.L. “Tres” Burke, III was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Wylie High School in 1989 and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University in 1993. He then attended Oklahoma City University law school, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1995. He passed the Texas Bar Exam on May 3, 1996, and began practicing law with his father. Tres primarily practices civil litigation, including personal injury and family law trial work. He is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
