In August of 2020, our client suffered permanent damage after he was struck in the face and eye by a falling garage door while he was finishing up a delivery. Because of the damage to his eye, he could not renew his commercial driver’s license and was forced to retire. While the settlement will not restore his injuries or give him back the pride he had in working, it will provide some necessary security for him and his family in the future.
