Chuck represented the family of an elderly woman who was involved in a terrible trucking accident. The woman was the passenger in a car driven by her son that collided at the back of a bobtail truck pulling onto the Pa. Turnpike from the shoulder of the highway at night without hazard lights on in a poorly lit area. The State police accident report placed the blame on the deceased woman’s son, but Chuck saw it differently. After thoroughly investigating the matter, Chuck made a claim against the trucking company for failing to properly train its driver who failed to properly yield and take the necessary precautions before entering the roadway. Ultimately, after years of litigation, Chuck was able to recover $1,550,000 for the mother’s family as compensation for the several months of pain and suffering she endured from her traumatic injuries that led to her death.
