Our client was physically assaulted (Stabbed) outside a restaurant and bar. We alleged that a substantial contributing factor to the assault and his resulting injuries was the restaurant’s failure to supervise the premises or provide adequate security. As the owner and operator of the property, the restaurant knew or should have known that patrons would be consuming alcohol and congregating, creating a foreseeable risk of harm, yet failed to take reasonable measures to ensure a safe environment.
