Case Details
Justice was served for our client’s family. Plaintiff’s verdict reached in Richmond County medical malpractice suit, for doctor’s failure to diagnose Fallopian tube cancer case. Fallopian tube cancer is an extremely rare cancer as only 300 to 400 women diagnosed annually. Of those women only 15% of them present with early signs and symptoms. Unfortunately for our client, her doctor missed her early signs and symptoms and as a result of the delay, the cancer went from stage I (84.5% chance of survival) to stage IV (0%). She died a year after she was diagnosed. The jury found the doctor was negligent and awarded $1,000,000 in damages. The insurance company never made an offer to settle.
