Joe Terry obtained a $2,400,000 settlement for three young women and a minor child who were illegally filmed while using the bathroom at a large national fast-food chain restaurant. The hidden video camera was placed in the women’s restroom on many occasions by one of the restaurant’s managers. When the hidden camera was ultimately discovered and given to the general manager, a cover-up ensued until authorities were altered and the perpetrator arrested. Terry & Thweatt took over the case from another law firm after the suit had been filed and aggressively began its investigation, exposing the attempted cover-up. After many depositions were taken, the case settled at mediation on the eve of trial.
