Our client was a tenant in an apartment complex owned and managed by the defendants when she sustained a back injury after tripping and falling against a metal pool handrail. The fall was caused by chairs that had been improperly placed near the pool. We alleged that, as the property owners and management company, the defendants were responsible for maintaining and controlling the pool area to ensure it was safe for tenants but failed to do so, creating a hazardous condition.
