Liability was problematic in that we represented a young man and inexperienced driver who testified that immediately before the accident that he was speeding and distracted by the defendant’s rare and collectible vehicle while driving on a curvy roadway in a terrible rainstorm. In addition to this excellent settlement for our client, we were able to completely extinguish a very large (almost $1,000,000) lien by proving to the lien holder’s attorney that 100% of this purported lien was not valid or recoverable.
