Client suffered serious injuries including a closed head injury, neck spasm, and related trauma when client was rear-ended. Medical expenses totaled $5,800.00. The tortfeasor’s insurer offered its policy of $20,000.00, which our client accepted after obtaining permission from his insurer. His insurer offered $5,000.00 of his underinsured motorist policy limits. When our client rejected his insurer’s offer of settlement, the parties proceeded to arbitration. Our client underwent a neuropsychological examination and evaluation over a two-day period where it was determined he suffered post-concussion disorder after striking his head on the steering wheel.
