Our 20 year client was driving her car through an intersection when she was broadsided by a tow truck who had run a red light. The severe impact forced our client to strike her head on the driver’s side window rendering her unconscious and causing a subarachnoid hemorrhage, also know as a bleed on the brain. To this day she still has no recollection of the accident. Subsequently, she was left with mild residual cognitive impairments for which she will have to deal with into the foreseeable future. The insurance company for the tow truck attempted to show that her injuries had resolved completely and she returned to her pre-accident status. However, prior to trial we were able to resolve the case and enable our client to have the resources for her future medical needs.
