Case Details

In the early morning of May 21, 2014, our client and her mother were passengers on a bus on their way to Los Angeles for Arizona. Our client was just 12 days old at the time. Our client's mother was bringing our client to meet her family for the first time. While traveling down the I-10 a tracker trailer jack-knifed, causing cargo to spill across the highway. The driver of the bus our client was on failed to stop and as a result, the bus lost control and overturned. Our client sustained severe injuries, the worst of which was a skull fracture that caused significant swelling. Our client's various medical physicians all agreed that even at such a young age, our client had and will continue to suffer from a brain injury. Our litigation team was able to establish the bus driver's and bus company's negligence and obtain an arbitration award of $40 million.
