Mr. Jacob Keating, a locomotive engineer for Amtrak, was involved in two incidents. First, he was savagely beaten by a gang while trying to disburse them from the tracks in 2007. Second, in 2010, he suffered a severe PTSD episode when a red laser light was shined into his locomotive cab, believing he was targeted by a gun.
