Unusually large settlement in a non-surgical back injury case with medical bills of “only” $26,530. However, plaintiff was restricted in performing his usual occupation and incurred a substantial loss of income as a result. Insurance companies do not like to pay large loss of income claims, so that’s where the fight was.
