A Sussex County Superior Court jury awarded $6.5 million to Analy Ventura for the death of her 14-month-old daughter, Angi Ventura-Landeverde, due to medical malpractice by an emergency-room doctor and nurse practitioner who erred in releasing the toddler from the hospital.
