Case Details
Client was injured as a result of a car dealership’s failure to properly secure their premises. A theft of the vehicle occurred on the dealership after keys were left in the ignition as the vehicle was being prepped by the porters for delivery to a customer. The car thief subsequently crashed into a vehicle in which our client was a passenger causing severe injuries, including a traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures.
Additional Notes
Despite the car dealership denying the keys were left in the vehicle in violation of Florida Statute 316.1795, we were able to show the keys were left in the vehicle after extensive litigation, thus allowing us to facilitate the Plaintiff’s recovery.
