Victor M. Covelli

Victor M. Covelli, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Rutgers University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Temple University Law School in 1981 where he was honored with the American Jurisprudence Award for Civil Procedure. Mr. Covelli was admitted to the Bar in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1981 and the California Bar in 1993. In 1981 he was also admitted to the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He has received the Certificate of Commendation from Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services, Inc. for dedicated pro bono service to the community. His affiliations include the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Monmouth County Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association. Mr. Covelli's appointments include Public Defender for Ocean Township and previously the Public Defender for the Borough of Manasquan.

Scott M. McPherson

Scott is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney and focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury recovery, Workers’ Compensation and employment discrimination. Less than 2% of New Jersey attorneys hold the “certified” distinction. Scott has tried numerous cases to verdict and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients. Scott was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2014 through 2021. Scott is a member of both the New Jersey Bar Association and the Monmouth County Bar Association. Scott serves on the New Jersey Bar Associations Automobile Litigation and No Fault Special Committee. Scott also serves on the Monmouth County Facilities Committee. Scott has lectured in the area of legal research. Scott served as the Attorney-Coach for the Red Bank Regional High School Mock Trial Team from 2017-2018 academic year through the 2023-2024 academic year. Prior to that, Scott volunteered as a judge of the Monmouth County Mock Trial Competition. Scott has also volunteered as a judge of Seton Hall Law School’s Gressman Moot Court Competition. Scott resides in Monmouth County with his wife and his two children.

Robert M. Anderson

Robert M. Anderson has been practicing law for 26 years. After graduating from New York Law School in 1986, he was admitted to the NJ State Court and U.S. District Court of NJ. In 1999, he was admitted to the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Anderson is certified by the NJ Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney as well as a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocate Forum. He has litigated hundreds of matters to conclusion and has significant experience trying cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. Robert Anderson has argued cases before the Appellate Division of the State of New Jersey and the New Jersey Supreme Court. Mr. Anderson has been published in the New Jersey Law Journal, Newark Star-Ledger, and Jury Verdict Review and Analysis. Mr. Anderson is an Arbitrator in Monmouth, Ocean and Mercer Counties. He is currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice where he was recently recognized for his work as a volunteer member of Trial Lawyers Care. Mr. Anderson has also received awards from the Jersey City Police Benevolent Association, the City of Bayonne, and the American Legion for his community service.

Robert C. Fernicola

Robert C. Fernicola graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989. He continued his education at the Georgetown University Law Center where he received a Juris Doctor in 1992. Mr. Fernicola is admitted to practice law in New Jersey Superior Court and United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is an active member in the American Association for Justice as well as the New Jersey, Monmouth County and American Bar Associations. From 2000 to 2003, he served on the Borough of Allenhurst governing body as Commissioner of Parks, Recreation, Public Buildings and Beach. Mr. Fernicola has extensive insurance defense litigation experience engaging in all phases of litigation in both Federal and Superior Court. Currently, he concentrates his practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and commercial litigation with special emphasis in construction litigation, boating accidents and product liability cases. He also practices municipal land use law before local boards. He is currently serving as Public Defender for the Township of Ocean. He is also the Republican Chairman representing the Village of Loch Arbour.
