Ross Cellino

Ross Cellino

As a family man and a trial attorney, I pride myself on winning cases and serving the community. With over 35 years of experience, I understand the function of a jury, how juries arrive at conclusions, and the role that the jury plays in administering justice. I know how to win cases. Those who have suffered an injury should expect and demand an attorney who has the experience and proven track record to win over a jury. My team of attorneys at Cellino Law have proven their abilities by the results achieved in court. Cellino Law’s attorneys meticulously prepare each case so that the client receives the maximum amount of compensation possible. My attorneys build a relationship with each client and handle a case from inception to conclusion. The insurance companies and their defense attorneys know that if they are not prepared to meet my firm’s settlement demands, Cellino Law attorneys are prepared to try the case in front of a jury. As a result, our clients receive favorable settlements because insurance companies know our team is willing to take a case to trial and fight for them. The proven success in the courtroom has allowed us to attract and retain accomplished and experienced trial lawyers in the field of personal injury law to best serve the client. I am passionate about giving back to the community and supporting local organizations, including animal and children’s causes, that make New York a great place to live. I promise that you can trust Cellino Law to work hard for you!

My first memory of personal injury law comes from my father, Ross Cellino, Jr. When I was young, he let me skip school to attend his closing argument on one of his biggest cases. I will never forget when my dad dropped to his knees to show the jury what his client’s life would be like without the use of the client’s legs - unable to walk around and bound to a life of assistance from others. I will also never forget the satisfaction my dad had fighting for his client against an insurance company’s unfair offer - something that his father, Ross Cellino, Sr., who was sitting in the galley with me, had taught him. Over the years, I have absorbed both the personal and professional skills passed on to me from my father and grandfather and apply those in each case I represent. Being able to convey the life-altering devastation of a client’s injury is vital to achieving the best result both inside and outside the courtroom. I take great pride in getting to know my clients on a personal level and making sure that negligent defendants are held accountable for the pain, trauma, and emotional distress they cause. I have dedicated my legal career to representing those injured, and it is my privilege to carry on the legacy that my grandfather started back in 1958. I promise hard work, compassion, and zealous advocacy for each of my clients.

I have seen firsthand the suffering and hardship people endure when they are injured due to the negligence of others. The impact an injury has on a person and their family goes beyond the physical pain. It has devastating consequences in almost every aspect of their life, the lives of their family, and in the community. I joined Cellino Law in 2002, formerly Cellino & Barnes, because the attorneys and staff are committed to helping injured people in their time of need. It is a philosophy and way of thinking I adhere to.

Since joining Cellino Law in 1998, my goal has always been to get the best possible result for each of my clients. I achieve this by knowing when to take a case all the way to trial and when to settle. Whether it’s an injury from an automobile accident, a fall, or a dog bite, I will not accept anything less than what my clients fully deserve. In every case I handle, I strive to develop a personal relationship with my client so that I can fully understand how the injury has affected his or her life. As a proud father, I understand how an injury to one family member can affect the family as a whole. It is with that personal knowledge that I am able to help each client through this difficult period. I take great pride in being a member of a firm that focuses solely on representing injured people against insurance companies. It is through that focus that I have developed the skills and knowledge to go head to head with the insurance companies on a daily basis to get each client what he or she fully deserves for an injury.
