She maintains a client focused law practice where she personally walks each individual client through every stage of the legal process pertaining to their case. After graduating with honors from the University of Georgia with a degree in business management, Ashley attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia where she received her law degree. Following law school, Ashley worked for a law firm in Macon, Georgia where she represented Macon/Bibb County Planning and Zoning and also gained valuable trial experience while handling civil litigation cases. In December of 2007, Ashley returned to her hometown of Gray, Georgia to open her own law practice. Since opening the practice in 2007, Ashley has focused on helping middle Georgians with their legal needs in personal injury and auto accidents. The Brodie Law Group has since expanded from Gray to also include offices in Macon and Milledgeville. The Macon office now serves as Brodie Law Group’s headquarters. In 2025, under Ashley’s leadership, Brodie Law Group introduced a Family Law Division of the law firm with attorneys and paralegals specifically dedicated in addressing the needs of Middle Georgia families in areas such as divorce, child custody, legitimation and more. Ashley states that as a personal injury attorney in Macon, she is given the opportunity to help people during the most stressful and turbulent times in their lives. Although her daily schedule is often quite tense and hectic, Ashley takes her cases to heart and cares deeply about seeking the best possible outcome for her clients. She prides herself and her law practice around providing personalized, individual attention to her clients as she helps them navigate the complex legal system. Ashley is married to Sean Brodie, who is also an attorney with the Brodie Law Group. Ashley and Sean have two daughters, two dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors on their farm with their horses and chickens. Ashley also serves as the County Attorney for her hometown of Jones County, Georgia.

Sean Brodie

Sean Brodie is originally from Evans, Georgia. After graduating high school, he played college baseball at Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia. Thereafter, he attended Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia where he earned a B.B.A. in Accounting. After graduating from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, he joined the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office which covers 8 counties - Baldwin, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jones, Morgan, Putnam and Wilkinson. There, he was an Assistant Public Defender for over 10 years - devoting himself to representing indigent persons accused of committing crimes. Over the course of his 10 years at the Public Defender’s Office, he has conducted many jury trials and has handled over 3,500 criminal cases which has included violent crimes such as murder and sex offenses, drug crimes, and misdemeanors such as DUI. In 2018, he left the Public Defender’s Office and joined his wife, Ashley M. Brodie, at the Brodie Law Group. His practice now consists of plaintiff’s personal injury cases involving motorcycle accidents and major trucking accidents. He takes pride in helping people when they need him most - such as when their personal well-being or freedoms and liberties are at stake. Sean enjoys the hunting, fishing, the Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with his family. Sean and Ashley have 2 daughters.

Mark Usher

Mark Usher

Mark grew up in a small town in North Georgia resting at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. His mother worked as an OBGYN nurse and his father worked as a carpenter and contractor. His grandparents are well known in their church and the community at large for always lending a helping hand to those in need. As a child, Mark learned from their empathy and their willingness to help those who are going through difficult times. In early high school Mark lost his mother to cancer. Because of that loss, Mark feels a special sense of empathy for children of divorce and he strives to be an advocate for all children. Mark graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Georgia College & State University (now the University of North Georgia), receiving his undergraduate degree in Political Science. Mark later attended Mercer University School of Law and graduated Cum Laude. During his time at Mercer, Mark obtained practice-ready instruction in trial strategy, real estate law, and bankruptcy law. Mark also served the community as a member of the Mercer Legal Aid Volunteer Association and the Mercer Criminal Defense Society. Mark has worked with the Brodie Law Group since law school, having spent countless hours in courtrooms across Middle Georgia since that time. Mark is a member of Operation BBQ Relief, an organization that serves food to victims of natural disasters in America. Mark and his wife have two rescue dogs, one adopted from All About Animals Rescue in Macon. In his spare time, Mark enjoys boating on Lake Sinclair, traveling to the mountains, and BBQing.

Natasha Frank

Originally from Champaign, Illinois, Natasha graduated summa cum laude from Southern Illinois University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Communications Studies. During her time at SIU, she demonstrated leadership as president of the Pre-Law Society and was a member of a sorority. After earning her undergraduate degree, Natasha pursued her J.D. at Mercer University School of Law. There, she was an active member of the Association for Women Lawyers, and interned for Honorable Judge Raymond who presided over domestic matters in Bibb County Superior Court. Before joining the Brodie Law Group, Natasha began working with a law firm in Atlanta, where she specialized in domestic law, providing strategic legal counsel to clients facing complex family law matters. In her free time, Natasha enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Cooper, an English Bulldog, and Henry, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. She also loves exploring new cities, trying local restaurants with friends, and taking her dogs on long walks.

Ashley Herndon Seymour

Ashley is originally from Forsyth, Georgia, where she graduated from Mary Persons High School in 2006. She then attended Macon State College, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. Thereafter, she attended Florida Coastal School of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2015. Ashley grew up in a home where her father was a firefighter, and her mother was a public school teacher. Both are retired now, but years of watching them work to help others inspired Ashley to want to give back to her community and to people in need. That has since evolved into a desire to fight for clients on a daily basis, both inside and outside of the courtroom. Before joining the Brodie Law Group in 2024, Ashley worked as an Assistant District Attorney and then as a criminal defense attorney. Ashley’s introduction to courtroom litigation was as a Third Year Practice Act intern with the Towaliga Circuit District Attorney’s Office in Monroe County. There, she had her first trials and handled both misdemeanor and felony criminal cases. Ashley was an Assistant District Attorney in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit from 2016 to 2021, where she primarily handled cases in Jones County and Baldwin County. Ashley brings a wealth of trial experience with her to the Brodie Law Group. Throughout her years as an Assistant District Attorney and as a criminal defense attorney, Ashley has litigated thousands of cases from traffic crimes, such as DUI and homicide by vehicle, to major felonies, such as aggravated assault and murder. Ashley is admitted to practice before all lower courts in the state of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Ashley and her fiancé have two dogs, Apollo and Susie, who are possibly two of the most spoiled canines in Georgia. Ashley enjoys traveling, riding horses and reading in her spare time.
