Peter John Mineo
Peter John Mineo is a native of South Florida, and has resided here his entire life. His legal training and familiarity with the court room first began during his childhood when he would frequently spend time at his father’s law office and accompany him to court to observe trials. Even from a young age he knew he wanted to become a lawyer, and as a result participated in the debate team and forensics club during his school years. Peter graduated from Chaminade Madonna College Preparatory in 1998 and went on to attend college at the University of Central Florida from which he graduated in 2002 with his Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in History. In 2002, Peter enrolled in law school at Nova University’s Shepard Broad Law Center where he was named the school’s prestigious Goodwin Scholar, which carried with it an award of a full three year academic scholarship. Following his first semester of law school, Peter married his college sweetheart. Throughout law school Peter worked at the law offices of Mineo & Dellapina as a law clerk, where he endured rigorous training under his father, Peter Mineo, Jr., attending court regularly and drafting pleadings and motions to get the sort of actual on the job training law school often fails to provide. Peter earned his Juris Doctorate was admitted to the Florida Bar as a practicing attorney in 2005. He then joined the law offices of Mineo & Dellapina as an associate attorney, and then was a partner in the subsequent entities of Mineo & Mineo, where he first began practicing in the area of first party property insurance in 2008, and now The Mineo Salcedo Law Firm. In his early career, Peter was a general practitioner and quickly gathered a wide array of experience as a litigator practicing law in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, criminal law, corporate law, contracts, insurance law, foreclosure, international law, internet law, collection law, fraud and family law, including cases involving domestic/child abuse. Peter is currently a specialist with many years of experience in the area of first party property insurance claims. He represents and is a zealous advocate for home owners, restoration and remediation companies and other vendors against insurance companies on property claims which have been underpaid or denied. Peter currently resides in Cooper City, Florida with his wife and their four children.

Peter Mineo Jr.
In 1977, Mr. Mineo graduated from Biscayne College (now St. Thomas University) with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. His background in the field of accounting gives him an enormous advantage in addressing complex financial matters presented in divorce litigation. In 1981, Mr. Mineo graduated from Nova University Law School. His entire third year of law school was spent as a clinical intern in the Broward County Public Defenders Office. This gave him the unique experience of having tried more than twenty cases before juries to verdict, before becoming a member of the bar. In October of 1981, Mr. Mineo was sworn in as a member of the Florida Bar and worked as an assistant Public Defender. He was one of three persons hired from more than 40 applicants. In 1982, he opened his own practice as a trial lawyer. He ultimately formed the firm, Mineo Booth & George, P.A., where he remained Senior Partner for many years. Early in his career, Mr. Mineo handled a varied case load including Plaintiff Personal Injury, Family Law and Medical Negligence litigation and General Civil litigation. He has tried over two hundred cases to verdict over his career. Many of these cases were complex medical negligence matters which are considered the most difficult and most challenging of all cases. He has successfully tried Family Law cases for high net worth clients, Medical Negligence cases for both plaintiffs and defendants, Wrongful Death cases for both plaintiffs and defendants, Products Liability cases involving serious injuries, Accident cases involving serious injuries and major civil litigation involving business disputes, including numerous legal malpractice claims. Thereafter, Mr. Mineo was the founding and Senior Partner in the law firm of Mineo & Dellapina. In 2005, Mr. Mineo was pleased to begin practicing with his son, Peter John Mineo, and later started the firm of Mineo & Mineo, P.A together which eventually grew into the current Mineo Salcedo Law Firm. Mr. Mineo maintains a very active and busy trial practice. He now limits his practice to cases involving high net worth individuals in civil matters and family law and those persons who have been catastrophically injured through the fault of others.

Garrett S. Elsinger
Garrett S. Elsinger earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from Hope College, Holland Michigan in 1993. He earned his Juris Doctor from University of Miami School of Law in 1996. Garrett worked for the Broward County State Attorney’s Office from 1997 through 2003 where he rose to the position of Felony Trial Unit Supervisor and was responsible for the prosecution of vehicular homicide and second degree murder cases. He has been lead counsel in over 100 jury trials in both state and federal courts. In 2003, Garrett opened his own law firm in Fort Lauderdale where he practiced criminal law. From 2008 through 2014 Garrett worked for Purdy, Jolly, Giuffreda & Barranco, P.A. where he practiced civil rights defense and government liability representing law enforcement officers in state and federal courts who were accused of false arrest, excessive force, and negligence. Garrett focuses his practice in the areas of homeowners’ first-party property insurance litigation and general civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and well as the federal courts for the southern and middle districts of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Daniel F. Dickenson
Dan is a trial lawyer specializing in personal injury and insurance claims. Dan specializes in civil litigation, as well as business and real estate transactional matters. Dan has extensive experience litigating a full range of civil and insurance related cases in state and federal court. Dan is licensed in Florida, Colorado, and Washington D.C. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In 2006, Dan began his legal career as a trial lawyer in West Palm Beach, Florida where he defended cases on behalf of insurance companies and corporate clients. In 2010 he returned to Boca Raton, Florida to represent individuals in insurance and personal injury litigation. Working at one of the oldest law firms in Boca Raton, Dan sharpened his trial advocacy, transactional, and corporate governance skills. Dan is a native of Florida and Boca Raton. He is a 1999 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College. He attended law school at Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center. Dan is also a proud alumni of Gulf Stream School. Dan is a member of The Boca Raton Historical Society and The Boca Raton Little League. He also devotes his pro bono time to helping individuals affected by the pandemic in foreclosure and eviction cases. Dan is also Of Counsel with the Mineo Salcedo Law Firm, where he represents homeowners in first party property damage claims.

Julie C. Collange
Julie C. Collange’s focus is in the area of Plaintiff’s First Party Property Damage cases, where she represents property owners against insurance companies who have wrongfully denied, delayed, or underpaid their insurance claims. Julie attended Lynn University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, specializing in International Business and attended Nova Southeastern University where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree in law. While attending law school, Julie earned her certification as a Guardian ad Litem to advocate on behalf of children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected. In addition, she gained Florida Bar approval as a Certified Legal Intern to represent individuals under the Children and Families Clinic in partnership with the Broward Legal Aid Society. Through these programs Julie gained valuable experience handling a variety of legal issues and developed a passion for helping those in need. Julie is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida and is currently a member of the Florida Bar and Broward County Bar Association. Julie is fluent in French.

John A. Salcedo
Attorney John A. Salcedo has been a member of the South Florida Community all of his life. Born and raised in Hollywood, Florida, John graduated from Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory in 1998. John A. Salcedo attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and graduated in 2002 with a Major in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Sociology. He returned to Broward County to continue his education at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center where he earned his Juris Doctorate and graduated with honors in 2005. It was there that he developed and honed the legal research and writing skills that would later prove valuable as a litigator. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005, John has focused his legal career on Civil Litigation. Mr. Salcedo was a Senior Litigation Attorney as well as a Litigation Supervising Attorney for one of South Florida’s largest Foreclosure firms. His position allowed him to travel throughout the State and litigate in almost every County, from the Key West to the Panhandle. In addition to handling complex litigation issues in the courtroom, John Salcedo was in charge of training and supervising a team of associate attorneys. John now uses his years of Civil Litigation experience to represent individuals and companies who have not received the full benefit of their insurance policy. His goal is to level the playing field for those embroiled in disputes with insurance companies. When not zealously advocating for his clients in the courtroom, John enjoys spending family time with his wife and two young daughters. He is a volunteer coach for the pee wee soccer league in his neighborhood and also volunteers his time to provide pro bono legal services to the indigent.

Lance B. Stephan
Lance B. Stephan is an experienced civil litigator. Mr. Stephan primarily represents homeowners in legal disputes with their insurance carriers. Prior to joining the Mineo Salcedo Law Firm, Mr. Stephan was Associate General Counsel to Florida’s largest homeowners’ insurance company. Mr. Stephan also previously worked as an associate attorney for a well-known Miami law firm, where he represented a number of insurance carriers throughout Florida. Mr. Stephan completed earned both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees at Florida State University and graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, he was a judicial intern for Justice Barbara J. Pariente, at the Florida Supreme Court. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a legislative aide in the Florida House of Representatives in Tallahassee, Florida. Mr. Stephan is a member of the Florida Bar.
