John W. Robertson

Mr. Robertson concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, personal injury, and commercial transactions. Mr. Robertson was born in Moline, Illinois. He served as an officer in the United States Army from 1968 - 1972, and he is a combat veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Robertson has served on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. From 1979 - 1999, he was a member of the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Civil Jury Instructions. He also served on the Advisory Committee of Local Rules of Procedure for the Federal Court, Central District of Illinois, from 1994 until 2011. Mr. Robertson has been selected for inclusion in Illinois Leading Lawyer. Also, he has been rated AV by Martindale Hubbell for 35 years.

Paul L. Mangieri

Paul L. Mangieri is a partner and chief executive officer of the firm working primarily out of the Galesburg office. Upon graduation from law school in 1984, he proudly volunteered for service with the U.S. Navy as a JAG Corps Officer. He served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60), seeing two deployments overseas. Upon his release from active duty he began the private practice of law with the firm of Barash & Stoerzbach. From 1988 until 1996, Paul represented the citizens of west central Illinois in all areas of the law, but specialized in trial litigation, both civil and criminal, and had areas of specialty in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and commercial claims. From 1996 until 2007, he served as the elected Knox County State’s Attorney. From 2007 until 2019, Paul was a Circuit Court Judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit where he presided over every type of legal claim.

Barry M. Barash

Barry M. Barash passed away on March 9, 2021. Barry was a beloved partner of Barash & Everett, LLC. During his career he worked at the firm’s Galesburg office. During Barry’s long and distinguished career he was an Assistant Attorney General of the State of Illinois from 1963-64. He was board certified in consumer and business bankruptcy and was a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. Barry was also a licensed pilot with over 30 years of experience and commercial, multi-engine and instrument ratings.

Reynolds M. (“Rip”) Everett Jr.

Reynolds M. ("Rip") Everett, Jr. is a senior member of Barash & Everett, LLC and currently works out of the firm's Galva office. Rip is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Planning.

Keith A. Luymes

Keith A. Luymes is an associate of Barash & Everett, LLC and currently works out of the firm's Galva office. Keith was a part-time Assistant State's Attorney for Henry County, Illinois from 1977-1980 while maintaining a private practice with Everett & Everett.

Zachary L. Lessard

Zachary L. (“Zac”) Lessard is an associate currently working out of the firm’s Kewanee office. Zac graduated from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in Computer Science and Information Systems in 2008. Zac also graduated with his Master's degree in Computer Science in 2010 and his Master's degree in Business Administration in 2013. Zac attended law school at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. While at Barash & Everett, Zac will focus his practice on family law, estate planning and corporate and business law in Henry, Knox and Peoria counties.
