Erik Wilson is a dedicated personal injury attorney licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington. Erik proudly earned his Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark School of Law. His legal career began with representing institutional lenders, which provided him with an understanding of the legal system and the real-life impact it can have on individuals. He soon realized his true calling was in advocating for real people-good people who are navigating the challenging aftermath of injuries. In 2002, Erik made Portland, Oregon his home. Joshua V. Callahan

Joshua V. Callahan has practiced in his home state of Oregon since 2011 as a Trial Lawyer. Since then, he has helped countless clients throughout the Pacific Northwest successfully attain the compensation they deserve related to claims for injury or death. Joshua takes the term Trial Attorney seriously and is always willing to take every client’s case to trial if necessary, with a track record to prove this. Joshua has tried and arbitrated more than 100 civil cases to completion making him one of the most experienced Trial Lawyers of his generation. He gained invaluable experience unique among his peers by supporting and working directly with many of the most skilled and experienced Trial Lawyers in the region, on both the defense and plaintiff side. Joshua was born and raised in Milwaukie, Oregon. He joined the US Army as a Military Police Officer for eight years, serving in peacekeeping and combat missions. He returned home to Oregon after his service where he finished his undergraduate degree at Portland State University and attended Lewis & Clark Law School.

Michael G. Jacobs

Michael is an experienced litigator who has handled hundreds of professional negligence and catastrophic injury cases, including wrongful death. After practicing as a civil defense attorney for 15 years, Michael formed Jacobs Wilson Callahan, PC with his dear friends Joshua and Erik. His experience in defending cases offers key insight into how best to prosecute those same claims and obtain the best results he can for his clients. Michael has extensive experience litigating a wide variety of matters through trial. His practice areas include: personal injury and wrongful death, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, elder abuse, claims against nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and professional malpractice.

Leonard grew up in a suburb of Chicago as the oldest of seven children and as a result developed his advisory and communication skills at an early age. He attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois and then University of Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana. Before attending Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, he traveled abroad for 6 months, attempting to be understood in Spanish, German, French, and Greek with limited success. He is a trial lawyer with experience in criminal defense, family law, probate, and personal injury litigation. He was a pro-term Circuit Court judge appointed by the governor. For 45 years, he traveled statewide in this capacity and also presided over the Clackamas County night court for almost 45 years. Len and his wife have three daughters attending elementary and high school in Lake Oswego. The Kovac girls are all musicians, athletes, and scholars, keeping their parents busy with their obligations to orchestras, pep bands, soccer teams, and school and dance teams.

Kristi Gifford

Kristi Gifford graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School in December 2022. She began working as an attorney at Josh Callahan’s firm in the spring of 2023 after being admitted to the Oregon State Bar, but she initially started work with Josh in early 2016 as the firm’s legal assistant. Motivated to understand the complexities of the legal system, Kristi studied at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she participated in law review and other campus leadership while working full time for the firm gaining hands-on experience in tandem with classroom education. Her academic and professional interests in tort law, insurance law, and health law continue.
