Jeffrey A. Black

Jeffrey A. Black joined Black, Lyle & Habberfield, LLP in 1993, becoming a partner in 1994. He is a lifelong resident of the Olean area. Mr. Black earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Bonaventure University in 1990 and graduated cum laude from The Dickinson School of Law (Penn State) in 1993. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New York, as well as in the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Western and Southern Districts of New York. Ethan M. Lyle joined Black, Lyle & Habberfield, LLP in August of 1999. He is a long-time resident of Sheffield, Pennsylvania. Mr. Lyle graduated from Lock Haven University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and then went on to attend The Dickinson School of Law, graduating in 1999 with a Juris Doctorate. He is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New York, as well as in Federal Court in both the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Western District of New York. Kevin M. Habberfield

Kevin M. Habberfield joined Black, Lyle & Habberfield, LLP as an Associate attorney in 2008 and was made Equity Partner in April of 2011. He graduated cum laude from law school at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2008. He is admitted to practice law in both New York and Pennsylvania, as well as in the U.S. District Court Western District of New York. He is a member of various professional associations and has received several honors, including being selected as a Super Lawyer and by U.S. News & World Reports Best Lawyers. He handles personal injury, civil litigation, and insurance matters in New York and Pennsylvania.

Lynn M. Bochenek

Lynn M. Bochenek joined Black, Lyle & Habberfield, LLP in June of 2024, bringing 12 years of experience fighting for injured clients at a large Buffalo law firm. She is an experienced litigator representing victims of automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, construction accidents, dog bites, slip/trip and falls, defective products, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence. Lynn graduated from Canisius College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and received her law degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2012. She is admitted to practice law in New York and in Federal Court in the Western District of New York. Charles S. DeAngelo

Charles S. DeAngelo is an attorney at Fessenden, Laumer & DeAngelo, PLLC, in Jamestown, New York. Michael T. Coutu

Mike Coutu has over 20 years of experience as an injury lawyer. He has successfully resolved hundreds of cases for his clients and has substantial court room experience at both the trial court and appellate level. He also has training and experience as a mediator and arbitrator. He has been honored to be selected by other attorneys to help resolve cases for their clients. As a former defense attorney, Mike particularly enjoys counseling clients injured through the negligence or fault of others. Our clients often have Workers’ Compensation and/or Social Security Disability claims in addition to personal injury cases from their construction site injury, injury on property, motor vehicle crash or injury due to a defective or dangerous product.
