Colleen M. Starr
Colleen Starr received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2010. David Rutledge started practicing law in 2010 and opened his firm in 2015. He graduated from Loyola New Orleans College of Law and earned his Juris Doctorate in both common and civil law. He worked for the Honorable Judge Richard Haik of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and the Honorable Jude Ellis Daigle at the 27th District Court in Opelousas, LA.

Jennifer Ackroyd-Fabris joined the firm in May 2016. Jennifer concentrates her practice in Probate Law, specializing in: Estates and Trusts; Wills; Long-Term Planning; Medicaid Planning; Elder Law; Special-Needs Planning; and Estate Litigation. Jennifer has trained other attorneys in Michigan in these areas of Probate Law while serving as an ICLE moderator. She also educates the public at seminars on various Probate issues throughout the region.

Marc Sackin
Marc Sackin is formerly a litigation associate in the New York office of the international law firm Baker & McKenzie LLP. There, Marc received unmatched legal training from some of the best and brightest legal minds and gained unparalleled experience while representing, counseling and advising many Fortune 500 companies with respect to a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. Marc later worked as a litigation associate at the boutique firm Reisman Peirez Reisman & Capobianco LLP, where he worked with many medium- and small-sized business, as well as individuals, on litigation, transactional and probate matters. Marc has also worked as a student assistant prosecutor in Kings County (Brooklyn), State of New York, where he was responsible for personally handling all stages of the prosecution of criminal cases from intake in the complaint room through final disposition.

Lexi Ruggirello
Lexi Ruggirello received her undergraduate degree from Ferris State University and Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2016. Before Lexi joined the practice in 2021, she worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Lapeer County. Using this experience as a former prosecutor, Lexi advocates fiercely on behalf of her clients both criminally and in family law.
