Joel D. Howe

Joel graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Augsburg College earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to his legal career, he worked in the tax planning department at American Express Financial Advisors in Minneapolis, held a position with The St. Paul Companies, and served as a Registered Principal with Lutheran Brotherhood (now Thrivent Financial), a nonprofit financial services organization. Joel is an active member of the Oregon State Bar, and of the Real Estate and Land Use, Elder Law, and Estate Planning and Administration sections. He also belongs to the Linn-Benton Bar Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Vina Moses Welfare Center, Inc. Joel focuses his practice on trusts, guardianships, conservatorships, real property, and business law. With a strong background in both law and financial services, Joel brings a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to serving his clients.

Paul Britton

Paul was raised in the Willamette Valley and has been a nearly lifelong Oregonian. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Oregon and then continued on to the University of Washington School of Law where he earned his J.D. While at the University of Washington, Paul participated in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, assisting clients in negotiating tax matters with the IRS. He was also an Executive Editor for the Washington International Law & Policy Journal. Paul is an active member of the Oregon State Bar and is a member of the Real Estate and Land Use, Business Law, and Agricultural Law sections. Outside of his work as an attorney, Paul has volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care and as an assistant high school football coach. Paul specializes in business, real estate, and agricultural law matters. He enjoys helping clients throughout the Willamette Valley with a variety of legal matters affecting small and medium-sized businesses.

Rob is an experienced attorney and shareholder at Evashevski Elliott PC, based in Albany, Oregon. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark College, Northwestern School of Law, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Montana. He also previously served as Deputy County Counsel for Linn County. He is admitted to practice in Oregon and is an inactive member of the Washington bar. Ashley J. Tuttle

Ashley J. Tuttle

Raised on the East Coast, Ashley attended the University of Vermont earning a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. After graduation, she worked in the snowboarding industry, and in 2014, she enrolled at Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles. In 2017, Ashley earned a Juris Doctor, passed the California Bar Exam, and began working as an Associate Attorney for Action Sports Law Group (ASLG) in Oceanside, California. At ASLG, she specialized in athlete immigration law, contract review, and various sports-related issues, working with top professional athletes globally. In 2019, Ashley moved to Bend, Oregon, to continue pursuing her passion for snowboarding and the outdoors. After several years of working with major international athletes, Ashley joined Evashevski Elliott PC to contribute her legal expertise to the Central Oregon community. With extensive experience as an attorney, Ashley has handled a range of legal issues for individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing a comfortable and supportive environment while helping clients navigate and resolve their legal challenges.

Alexander J. Brookes

Alexander J. Brookes

Alex was born and raised in Corvallis and graduated from Crescent Valley High School. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Amherst College with dual majors in economics and geology before working as an analyst for Auxier Asset Management near Portland, Oregon. While working as an analyst, Alex had his Series 63, Series 65, and Series 7 licenses, allowing him to buy, sell, and market securities. After a few years at Auxier Asset Management, Alex went back to law school at the University of Arizona where he graduated magna cum laude. Alex is a member of the Executive Board of the Oregon New Lawyers Division and a member of the Board of Directors of the Corvallis Caring Place and the Corvallis Boys and Girls Club. In his free time, he volunteers as a coach for the Crescent Valley High School Swim Team. Since coming back to Corvallis, Alex has used his prior work experience to specialize in business and real estate law.

John H. Myers

John was raised near McMinnville and is a 5th generation Oregonian. He completed his bachelor’s degree in agricultural business management at Oregon State University and graduated from Willamette University College of Law cum laude with his J.D. John completed the estate planning clinical program while at Willamette University. After spending some time at a Bend law firm, he started his own practice focusing solely on estate planning and administration. In 2024, John joined the team at Evashevski Elliott PC. John has assisted many Oregon families and individuals in preparing custom tailored estate plans and assisting with probates and trust administrations. Due to his work experience and education, he is adept at identifying and understanding the complexities of family dynamics and truly enjoys his role in the estate planning and administration process.

Steve L. Adkins

Steve L. Adkins

Mr. Adkins practiced law in Corvallis beginning in 1980 and joined Evashevski Elliott PC in 2010. He primarily practiced business law, real property law, and trusts and estates law. Over the years, Steve represented more than 300 businesses and many families and individuals throughout the Willamette Valley. Steve formally retired early in 2025. John Myers will be assuming responsibility for Steve’s former trust and estates clients, while Paul Britton will be handling the business law and real property matters.
