For over a decade, Alberto Ramos Zorrilla has built a distinguished career as a trial attorney representing clients in complex civil litigation across multiple jurisdictions. A native of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Alberto is a dedicated husband and father of two daughters whose commitment to the legal profession is matched only by his devotion to family and community. Alberto earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and was admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar shortly thereafter. Pursuing advanced legal training, Alberto obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Following his LL.M., Alberto joined one of Puerto Rico’s preeminent litigation firms as an associate in the litigation department, where he handled commercial disputes, administrative proceedings, and health law matters. In 2014, he relocated to Miami and joined Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor, where he expanded his litigation practice to include high-stakes cases involving trucking and auto negligence, premises liability, property damage, and negligent security. His performance, marked by diligence and strategic precision, led to his promotion as Partner of the firm’s Miami office. Alberto later transitioned to an in-house role as a Senior Trial Attorney at Kemper Auto, where he was responsible for managing a high volume of bodily injury litigation from inception through resolution. He remains licensed to practice law in both Florida and Puerto Rico.
