He pursued a bachelor’s degree in history at the University of Louisville, graduating with honors in 2021. His determination to become a lawyer was driven by a deep desire to advocate for those in need. During law school at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, the tragic loss of his stepmother in a vehicle-pedestrian collision profoundly influenced his career path, solidifying his commitment to plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. He joined Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers as a law clerk in 2023, working on commercial vehicle accidents, semi-truck accidents, wrongful death claims, premises liability, and car wrecks. He graduated with honors in 2024, receiving the CALI Award in Workers’ Compensation Law and making the Dean’s List. After passing the Kentucky Bar, he became a full-time associate attorney. Austin’s personal experiences fuel his passion, allowing him to empathize deeply with clients and ensure they receive justice and compensation. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée Shannon, daughter Iris, and dog Tater, and is an avid supporter of the University of Louisville Cardinals sports, also enjoying chess.
