About Trenton
Trenton Burns developed a passion for litigation and trial advocacy as a member of Bellarmine’s nationally recognized mock trial program during his undergraduate studies. He then attended the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law, where he earned the highest grade in his class for Trial Practice. Before joining Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers as a Louisville personal injury lawyer, Trenton worked for two reputable defense firms, focusing on complex civil litigation including automotive products liability, common carrier defense, asbestos litigation, municipal liability, and medical malpractice. He enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to advocate for injured individuals rather than defending those who caused harm. Trenton is deeply committed to community involvement, proudly serving Oldham County and on the Board of Directors for Wednesday’s Child, a non-profit helping abused and neglected children find permanent homes. In his free time, he enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities with his wife, two daughters, and dogs. He is also a big basketball fan, supporting the Bellarmine Knights and Indiana Pacers.
