Bernard J. Cooney is a former federal prosecutor focusing on complex commercial litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and government investigations. He served over a decade as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, where he gained extensive experience investigating and prosecuting health care and other white-collar fraud cases, holding several supervisory positions including Chief of the Health Care Fraud Unit and Chief of the Government Fraud Unit. He also worked as Principal Litigation Counsel at FINRA and at a leading law firm in New Jersey and New York.
