About Brian

Brian Morgan Heit has been practicing law for over 10 years, is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience handling sexual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and wage and hour claims. Mr. Heit graduated with honors from San Francisco State University and earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Miami School of Law, where he received multiple academic honors, including the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in Evidence and Scholastic Distinction upon graduation. Before joining JLG as a Senior Trial attorney, he founded and managed a boutique litigation firm focused on employment and commercial litigation, where he managed complex caseloads, advised on high-stakes legal strategies, achieved successful outcomes, and recovered 10s of millions of dollars for his clients. Prior to law school, Mr. Heit worked in corrections and as a mental health professional for the City of San Francisco. His legal experience includes appearances in both state and federal courts, where he has developed a strong reputation for his persuasive trial advocacy and clear communication. Brian has received recognition as the “Top 40 under 40” by the American Academy of Attorneys and a “Rising Star” by the American Institute of Legal Advocates. In addition to litigation, Brian previously held a leadership role as the Deputy Chair and Treasurer of the Federal Bar Association’s National Corporate and Association Counsel Division. Mr. Heit enjoys all ocean and water activities, mountain biking, live music and the arts, spending time with his family, and traveling.
