About Cameron
Cameron M. Dalton is a member of the firm’s Estate Planning and Tax Group. His practice includes advising individuals and fiduciaries on complex estate and tax planning, post-mortem planning, and trust and estate administration. Cameron takes a tax-forward, solution-oriented approach to help clients navigate legal and financial challenges, with a focus on multigenerational wealth preservation. His work includes lifetime gifting strategies, the formation of closely held entities, disclaimer planning, trust modification and decanting, and settlement agreements. Cameron also represents clients in the formation, governance, and reorganization of business entities, often in the context of succession planning or integration with broader estate and tax objectives. He works closely with clients and their advisory teams to structure operating businesses, investment entities, and real estate holdings in ways that support long-term planning goals and preserve family wealth. He earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, he served as Vice President of the Estates & Trusts Law Society, worked as a research assistant to professors at both the Levin College of Law and Warrington College of Business, received the Book Award in Fiduciary Administration (a recognition given to a student for achieving the highest grade in a particular course), and was a speaker at the Ellen Belberg Tax Policy Symposium.
