About Clay

Prior to pursuing a legal career, Clay worked in the emergency services field for 15 years as a Paramedic. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran and served as a Corpsman with a U.S. Marine Corps infantry battalion deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He joined Robertson, Beasley, Shipley & Robinson, PLLC, in 2017, working primarily in insurance defense litigation. His practice also includes plaintiff personal injury representation and medical malpractice. Clay's medical background is uncommon in the legal field, and this gives him a unique perspective when advocating for clients. He lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Marissa, and their three young sons, and is involved with multiple veteran organizations.
