Cory Strolla, an esteemed veteran trial attorney for over 25 years, recently joined the Gordon & Partners law firm as a Veterans Benefits Attorney, shifting his focus from a long and distinguished career in private Criminal Defense. Motivated by his family’s strong military background and a deep-seated passion for aiding those who have served our great nation, Mr. Strolla is committed to supporting our service members. Originally from SAC Headquarters Offutt Air Base in Nebraska, Mr. Strolla was raised in South Florida, graduating from Jupiter High School in Palm Beach County. He furthered his education at the University of Florida, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with an aggregate minor in Psychology. During his time at UF, he actively participated in Pi Kappa Phi and contributed significantly to community service endeavors, notably with the Alachua County Boys and Girls Club and the Civitan Blood Center. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Strolla pursued his Juris Doctorate at Stetson University, College of Law, in St. Petersburg, Florida, renowned for its top-ranked trial and litigation program for the past several decades. He excelled academically, graduating with honors in trial advocacy. Throughout his tenure at Stetson Law, Mr. Strolla held leadership roles, served as a Teaching Assistant for Trial Advocacy Skills, and received prestigious awards recognizing his commitment to both pro bono service and trial advocacy. After completing his legal education, Mr. Strolla began his professional journey as a State Prosecutor at the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office, handling various criminal cases, including DUI, misdemeanors, juvenile offenses, and felonies. Notably, he was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to serve as a Special Appointed Prosecutor for high-profile cases beyond Palm Beach County. Mr. Strolla is admitted to practice law in all jurisdictions within Florida, encompassing both State and Federal courts. His professional accolades and affiliations include recognition in Marquis Who’s Who publications, involvement in esteemed legal associations such as the Florida Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and prior pro bono service as a Palm Beach County Youth Court Judge. Mr. Strolla has contributed to legal publications and has shared his expertise through hosting radio programs throughout Florida. Mr. Strolla has also been a legal correspondent for Fox News, NewsMax, and many local news television outlets, recently including a feature in an HBO documentary for one of his high-profile jury trials.
