Edward H. Gersowitz is one of the co-founders of Gersowitz, Libo & Korek, P.C. He partnered with Andrew Libo to open the law office of Gersowitz & Libo, P.C., which became Gersowitz Libo & Korek, P.C. in 1992. He handles pharmaceutical, motor vehicle, premises, municipal liability and toxic tort cases, and oversees the firm’s daily activities and philanthropic endeavors. Mr. Gersowitz is a past President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He received his Bachelor of Science at Cornell University and his Juris Doctor at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has been chosen for “Super Lawyers” from 2010 to the present and recognized in Best Lawyers as a “Best Lawyer” every year since 2012. He is a member of several legal associations including Leaders Forum (AAJ), Governor of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and a Member of the New York County Judicial Screening Committee. He has successfully handled high-profile cases, including an $18 million settlement for a car accident and a $12 million settlement in a class action lawsuit for victims of the Bronx Pelham Bay Landfill.
