About Eric
Eric Millhorn is the founder of the Millhorn Elder Law Planning Group, serving clients in The Villages and throughout central Florida in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, long-term care planning, and other important areas of the law. Eric completed his undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in pre-law and political science. He studied constitutional law abroad at the University of the Western Cape/Universiteit van Wes-Kaapland in South Africa, and earned his juris doctor law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. Additionally, Eric served in the United States Army Reserve from 1990-1996 as a Combat Engineer, Airborne and Air Assault qualified. Eric’s elder law and estate planning practice is enhanced by the fact that he is a Veterans Affairs accredited attorney. As a VA accredited attorney, Eric is authorized to represent claimants applying for VA pension or survivor benefits, including Aid and Attendance. Eric is a member of The Florida Bar, where he belongs to the Elder Law Section as well as the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section. He is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys. As part of his commitment to local communities in central Florida, Eric serves as a Director of the Tri-County Business Association.
