About Eric

Eric Price is a member of Perrier & Lacoste’s Mississippi office. His office is located in the Jackson, Mississippi metro area. Eric’s practice involves commercial trucking defense, non-emergency medical transportation, premises liability, appellate advocacy and uninsured motorist disputes. Eric is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana and Mississippi, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2006 and has been litigating cases since then. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2021. In 2002, Eric received his Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from Mississippi State University, majoring in Business Information Systems. In 2006, Eric received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Mississippi. While there, he was selected to become a member of Phi Kappa Phi and served on the Mississippi Journal of Space Law. Eric was a semi-finalist in the Steen Reynolds & Dalehite Trial Competition and the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts. Eric is a member of the Louisiana Bar, Mississippi Bar, New Orleans Bar, Capital Area Bar, and American Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel, and Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. He previously served on the Publications Committee and Homeless Youth Committee for the Mississippi Bar’s Young Lawyers Division. Eric was selected as a Mid-South “Rising Star” in Super Lawyers magazine in 2011-2020. Since 2013, he has maintained Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating, AV. In 2019, Eric was given an AV Preeminent Judicial Edition rating, indicating the highest possible rating for legal ability and professional standards by both the Bar and Judiciary. He is a 2019 graduate of the Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum. Eric resides with his family in Madison, Mississippi, where is an active member of his church. He enjoy spending time his wife and their three children.
