Evan Carter is an Associate Attorney on Cobb Hammett’s Corporate Law team. He previously worked as an associate attorney with two local insurance defense firms, gaining experience in all phases of litigation. A native of Kentucky, he earned a B.S. in Sports Management and an M.S. in Kinesiology, Recreation, & Sport from Western Kentucky University. He graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2022, where he was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Sports Law and gained experience in the legal department of the Mediterranean Shipping Company. Prior to law school, he worked for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons, the Tampa Bay Rays Single-A affiliate, the Bowling Green Hot Rods, and the University of Kentucky Athletic Association. He is licensed in South Carolina.
