George Riedel

About George

George was born and raised in Washington, but spent most of his adult life living out-of-state, moving to Madagascar at age 19, and then living everywhere from Idaho, to Virginia, to Utah, before settling in New Orleans for 13 years, where he attended law school and began his career as an attorney. Prior to law school, George worked as an insurance adjuster for several years for Farmers Insurance. After law school he began his legal career as a defense attorney for GEICO Insurance, where he successfully represented his clients in dozens of court hearings and trials in state and federal courts. With over a decade of experience working within the insurance field, George has unique insight into the mechanics of the claims process. Four years ago, George transitioned from defense work to representing plaintiffs, initially helping victims of Louisiana hurricanes receive fair compensation for their destroyed homes after insurance companies underpaid or outright denied property damage claims. The mountains of the Pacific Northwest were calling, and George returned to his home state after a two-decade absence and was fortunate to come aboard with the Freeman Law Firm, representing victims of car accidents. George is motivated and passionate about ensuring his clients receive the best outcome possible from their claims, and has developed a track record of favorable results in court and higher settlement values outside of court.
