About I.
I. Mark Rubin transitioned into civil law, focusing on Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Civil Rights cases, upholding his family's tradition of representing individuals against corporate entities. In the early 1990s, he moved to North Florida to establish a branch of Rubin & Rubin in Jacksonville, where he developed relationships within the business community. This led to a parallel career in real estate development, utilizing his legal skills for community-enhancing projects. Since 1994, Mark has served as a legal analyst for Jacksonville news radio station WOKV, providing commentary on current legal issues. His business experience has given him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by small businesses, enabling him to serve as general counsel to guide clients through problems and as litigation counsel when adversaries arise. He is a member of the Florida Bar, Federal District Courts for Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the 11th Circuit in Atlanta, as well as numerous trial lawyer associations and charities. He has served on the board of the Jacksonville Urban League, as International Department Task Force Chairman for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, and was appointed by President George W. Bush to the Florida District Export Council for the U.S. Department of Commerce. Mark is a graduate of Tulane University (BA, 1979) and Stetson University College of Law (JD, 1984).
