Paul M. Aloise Jr., Esq., joined Rubin & Rubin as a Shareholder in 2024. He previously worked as a trial attorney at a prominent Tallahassee firm practicing Civil Law and Criminal Defense for four years, and as a felony prosecutor in Florida for over three years. Paul has taken over 50 cases to trial, securing jury trial victories in four different Circuits. In 2022, he was lead counsel for a False Arrest/False Imprisonment Civil Jury Trial, resulting in a verdict of over $250,000, which earned a spot on the 2023 Top 100 Jury Verdicts for Civil Rights in the United States. He is recognized as a Super Lawyer's Florida Rising Star and a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 for Criminal Defense. Paul focuses his practice on Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation (Personal Injury, Breach of Contract, Sexual Assault, Sexual Harassment, Negligent Security, Wrongful Termination, Racial and Disability Discrimination, Civil Injunctions), and Sports & Entertainment Law. He has worked with notable figures in sports and entertainment and served as an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor from 2018-2024, negotiating 27 NFL contracts. Additionally, Paul has been an Adjunct Professor and Trial Team coach at The Florida State University College of Law, teaching Trial Practice and a course on Sports Agency, NCAA, & NIL Marketing. He played linebacker for the FSU football team and was a member of the 2013 BCS National Championship team. He earned his Juris Doctorate from The Florida State University College of Law, where he won the 2015 Wayne Hogan Championship.
