Mike Waller graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University Law School in 1984 following graduation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mike Waller clerked throughout law school for the Honorable Robert G. Dowd, Sr., Chief Judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals. Following graduation from law school, Mike Waller worked as a trial attorney for the largest insurance defense firm in Missouri and was appointed as a Special Assistant Attorney General to defend the State of Missouri and its employees in federal civil rights and constitution lawsuits. Later, Mike was hired as a litigation attorney for one of the largest insurers in the world. Mike has successfully tried cases in various state courts throughout Missouri and he has successfully argued cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Missouri Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the 8th Circuit. Mike joined Rynearson, Suess, Schnurbusch & Champion in 2017 where he handles automobile liability, premises liability, governmental liability and general liability lawsuits in both the state and federal courts in Missouri. Mike has received the highest ratings in both ability and ethical conduct from fellow practicing attorneys for the past 30 years, as reported in Martindale-Hubbell. Mike has lectured to fellow attorneys in continuing education courses and volunteers as a tutor in a local school supporting underprivileged children and volunteers with local religious and civic social service organizations.
