James E. Drake joined Weiss & Paarz in 2023 after over 10 years defending complex medical malpractice lawsuits in New Jersey. He clerked for Honorable James P. Savio, J.S.C. (ret.) in the New Jersey Superior Court. He practiced as an associate and quickly became partner at a defense medical malpractice law firm in Southern New Jersey. His experience covers nearly every medical specialty and subspecialty, including surgical errors, misdiagnosis, and failure to treat. He has litigated cases in trial court, Appellate Division, and Supreme Court of New Jersey. He now uses his expertise to help victims of medical malpractice in cases involving catastrophic injuries, birth injuries, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, amputations, wrongful birth, and wrongful death.
