Joseph A. Mendelsohn, a South Florida native, is a civil trial attorney and a fierce and zealous advocate for his clients. He has litigated cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death throughout Florida since 2007. Prior to joining Shiner Law Group, Mr. Mendelsohn litigated cases on behalf of defendants including many condominium associations, homeowner associations, individuals, and business entities, as well as many automobile insurance carriers, property insurance carriers, large retail establishments, electrical and carpenters’ unions, construction companies, restaurants, and product manufacturers. Utilizing the training, knowledge, and experience he obtained representing defendants and insurance carriers in both first-party and third-party cases for several years, Mr. Mendelsohn began exclusively representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death matters. His prior experience has afforded him a unique insight which has consistently led to obtaining excellent results for his clients. Presently, Mr. Mendelsohn focuses his practice at Shiner Law Group on civil litigation, primarily handling wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury cases. He has represented clients from the inception of a claim through trial.
