Joshua R. Goodbaum is a graduate of Harvard and Yale, and a four-time Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” for employment law. He represents Connecticut employees and other civil rights plaintiffs in litigation and negotiation. His experience covers discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, non-competition agreements, contract disputes, and wage and hour issues. He has secured several seven-figure settlements and has represented employees across various sectors of the Connecticut economy. Josh has been recognized by Connecticut SuperLawyers since 2015 and was dubbed a “New Leader of the Law” by the Connecticut Law Tribune. He is also Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated and included in Lawdragon's 500 Leading Plaintiff Employment Lawyers. Josh serves as Co-Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Federal Practice Section and is an elected member of the Board of Governors and Chair of the Employment Law Committee of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He teaches Trial Practice at Yale Law School and is Vice President of the Board of Directors of the New Haven Legal Assistance Association.
